Terms & Conditions

  1. Quotes

    • Unless otherwise stated in writing, Passionately Created Events quotes will be valid for a period of up to seven days from the date the quote was issued.

    • Quotes will be confirmed as a booking when the retainer has been received by Passionately Created Events

    1. Retainer/Deposit

    • A non-refundable retainer is required to secure a Passionately Created Events booking.

    • Retainers should be made by the Client on or before the due date as stated on the invoice.

    1. Rescheduling and Cancellation | Rain

    • Any cancellation will result in loss of the retainer.  

    • In the case of rain, the Client has up to 72 hours prior to the Event to decide if they want to make alternate arrangements at an indoor location or reschedule the event. 

    • The Client has a 3 month limit following the cancelled event for rescheduling and must be of equal or higher value.

    • Passionately Created Events will apply the Client's original non-refundable retainer toward this rescheduled event if it is within 3 months of the original Event Date.

    • If Passionately Created Events is not notified of cancellation, intent of rescheduling or change in venue a minimum of 72 hours hours prior to Event Date, no refunds of any kind will be provided.

    • In the case the weather forecast predicts wet weather, Passionately Created Events will not assemble items outdoors. 

    1. Loss or damage to rental items

    • All rental items supplied to the Client are property of Passionately Created Events unless otherwise stated in a signed invoice.

    • Damage to or loss of rental items within the period of booking as detailed in the invoice, will be reported by the Client to Passionately Created Events immediately. 

    • If the rental items are lost, the Client must pay to Passionately Created Events the current replacement cost of the rental items;

    • If the rental items are damaged, the Client must pay for all repairs or replacements.

    1. Security

    • The Client is responsible for the supervision and security of Passionately Created Events rental items until such time that it is collected by Passionately Created Events.

    • In the event that rental items are stolen from the venue or location;

    • The Client shall notify in writing stating the full circumstances of the theft and the time the police were notified

    • Until Passionately Created Events receives such notification, the rental charges will continue

    • The Client agrees to cover the costs to replace items stolen under the supervision of the Client during the period of hire.

    1. Passionately Created Events accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained where the Client and or guests move or incorrectly use items against the recommendation or instruction of Passionately Created Events.

    1. Payment Terms

    • All payments are strictly due as detailed in the Passionately Created Events invoice to the Client. Payments should be made by way of bank transfer, Venmo, or Credit Card (+ 3%) to Passionately Created Events.

    • Bookings cannot be confirmed without a retainer. Failure to pay an invoice may result in cancellation of a booking and loss of retainer.

    1. Alcohol Consumption

    • It is the responsibility of the Client to check alcohol laws of any venue or public space being used for one of our picnics.

    • Most public parks and beaches prohibit alcohol consumption. Passionately Created Events takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties occurred.

     9. Interpretation

    • "Passionately Created Events" means the business responsible for the booking package and rental of items.

    • "Client" means the person or business who will be renting items and to whom the Tax Invoice is addressed.

    • "Rental Items" means furniture, glassware, tableware, flatware, linens, decor and associated accessories in packages rented by the Client from Passionately Created Events.
